Arts & Crafts Community

While visiting Gatlinburg take a stroll through the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community and watch as artists and craftsmen create original pieces of art. The show features North America’s largest group of independent artisans.

Since 1937, artists have produced handcrafted items along an 8-mile loop known as the Tennessee Heritage Arts & Crafts Trail. Visitors can talk to and watch local
artists hand-make products right before your eyes, such as jewelry,
baskets, candles, candy, art, quilts, stained glass, and much more. Ride the Arts & Crafts Trolley. A one-time fare allows you to get off and on as often as you please.

Located 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg in the Glades. Turn at traffic light #3 in downtown Gatlinburg on East Parkway. Travel 3 miles to traffic light #3a at Glades Road and look for the sign.
