Zip up your jackets and break out the scarves, it’s wintertime in The Smokies!

The seasons in the Smokies are all breathtaking and winter is especially enchanting. The snow-covered mountains and crisp air create the perfect setting for an outdoor excursion.

Visit Tennessee’s only ski resort, Ober Gatlinburg. It is complete with eight ski trails serviced by two quad and one double chairlift, perfect for enjoying the magnificent scenery on the way up. On the slopes, skiers and snowboarders challenge the steepest slopes and exciting conditions.

Top snow-grooming equipment ensures smooth slopes and a more consistent surface for skiers and snowmobile riders. Don’t worry if you feel the temperature heat up, the snowmaking equipment blankets 100% of all eight slopes.

If the snowfall starts to get a little heavy, head indoors. Skate around on Ober’s indoor skating rink. The massive rink is located in the center of the enclosed mall and is sure to provide fun times and laughs for the whole family.
